Taking the lift up to the 40th floor of the Heron Tower certainly lifts my belly. However, with such a breathtaking view of London, it rather feels that my tummy is excited instead of being terrified.
The most popular dish here is of course the duck and waffle, which is a confit duck leg sandwiched between a waffle and a fried egg, accompanied with mustard maple syrup on the side. This is amazing! It was so delicious, the duck was perfectly executed and the salty and sweet combo is pure genius! Other menu delights were tuna tartare and Ox cheek doughnut which had a unique taste. I couldn’t decide if I like it or hate it, but I would definitely recommend trying it!
This is a very popular restaurant, so you do need to make a reservation!
